Post-Breakup Workshops
2021. 7. 1–12. 22, Art Centre Art Moment
Since I started collecting breakup stories through the exhibits, by mail, and on the website more than ten years ago, it has piled up to about a thousand stories and a hundred objects. I planned to compose a photography book out of the survey materials with photographer Hyoungtae Lim, but I had to postpone the plan due to his sudden death in 2016.
The bewilderment I had about the project at that time was resolved as I found the site of the Guro Industrial Complex, and I decided to ask the laborers there who had undergone the influences of rapid growth following industrialization, ‘What has left’ in their lives after all, with the collected items.
I gathered actors, photographers, designers, sound artists, and painters to share the collected items and asked them to reinterpret those in their artistic way. This is how the research collective for failed love, 'Post-Breakup' Workshops was started.
For six months, from July to December 2021, the members created an exhibition, yoga performance, play, sound album, and music performance in the lab at Cafe Doksan on the third floor of Art Centre
Art Moment and gave a monthly presentation. And as what had been left unfinished by Hyoungtae Lim six years ago was completed by Anbuh, I could publish an essay book 'Things Said at Breakup' about thestories I collected, accompanied by Anbuh’s photographs.

2013년 부터 시작한 프로젝트 '대화' Vol.2 -Goodbye to Love의 설문 '실연수집' 컬렉션을 5명의 다원예술가들이 함께 연구하고, 개인 작품과 공동작품을 제작할 연구 랩을 2021.7월 부터 12월까지 6개월간 금천구의 아트센터 '예술의 시간'에서 진행합니다.
이번 연구랩은 그간 수집한 실연물품과 사연 500여점 등을 협업 예술가들이 자유롭게 사용하고, 논의하며, 1달에 한번 공개원크샵을 진행하는 것은 목표로 하고 있습니다.

5명의 다원예술가들은 6개월간 이 컬렉션들을 자유롭게 활용한 개인 작업 및 공동예술 작품을 실험할 계획입니다.
헤어질 때 하는 말 사전
"당신이 헤어졌을 때 했던 말, 또는 들었던 말은?"
사전으로 제작하고, 퍼포먼스로 구현할 계획입니다.
예술의 시간 3층에 설치된 <실연활용법> 랩공간은 2021년 12월까지 상설설치되며, 협업예술가와 실연조작단에게만 공개됩니다. 단 '헤어질때 하는 말 사전' 제작을 위한 타이핑 룸은 일반인 참여도 가능합니다.
